One of my dear friends is having a birthday this week so I thought I would try to make a little something for her. Inspiration struck when I saw what Lisa Johnson recently featured as a project leading up to the release of her new stamp set remember. You can see her post here. My friend is a big fan of Green Tea so the project really fit to a tee. =)
Using store bought Green Tea pyramid tea bags I custom made the tags, using pretty paper from Autumn Leaves. This was so easy to do with my circle punch from Stampin Up!. I altered enough tea bags to fit into an empty prima flower bottle. I thought this would make a cute little gift holder. As you can see in the picture, I also bought a cute mug to go with the gift.
Here's a close up of the bottle label and band. So simple.
No birthday gift is complete without a birthday card. For this I used a card base of SU! Whisper White and added more of the same designer paper. The poppy stamp (also from SU!) was stamped on top and colored in with water color pencils. On top of that I added some Ranger Glossy medium to make it shine. =)
Here's the finished gift. A little something that I hope will convey how much I love and appreciate my friend. She is really one of a kind.
Ingredients: {Stamps}: SU! Oh So Lovely, So Many Sayings, Warmest Regards (All retired hostess sets). {Ink}: Basic Black {Paper}: SU! Whisper White, Bashful Blue, DP from Autumn Leaves {Other}: Aquarelle Watercolor pencils, Ranger Glossy, Ribbon from Michaels, SU 1 1/4 circle Punch,
That's all there is to it. =) Sara
